IN MEMORIAM

I had been hoping for conflicting reports. The rumor mill is often busy. Someone may dissappear from the scene for awhile and people will say that person died. The practice seems to be more prevalent in gay or underground societies.

I refused to mention anything until confirmation was given. I believe Angelo and his memory deserve as much. I have received information from reliable sources. So, it is with sadness that I pay tribute and honor to the memory of a beautiful, loving, genuine person. I will surely miss him.

Thank you soooo very much for this. I was beginning to think that you did'nt care. It was confirmed to me that he had died over a month ago, and I inquired on this blog and....this is very moving for me because I simply ADORED Angelo and like many others will miss him dearly. Thank you again

I think it is highly inappropriate to ask for details of one's death in a public forum at best, and at least it is indeed disrespectful. The author his posted a great tribute to a wonderful person and such details should be sought outside of the tribute.

I will miss Angelo. He had class which is more than the person who asked for "details" has. A person's medical history is private.

I sincerely apologize for asking about the cause. I was not thinking, nor was I looking to expose his "medical history" as one suggested here. I was simply hoping that it was not a crime related death. A few individuals that I have known and know in the DR have died or been injured by violent means. However; by some comments here I believe I have the answer.

The loss no matter what the cause is tragic in itself. Especially when that person was as nice as Angelo. His amazing smile and presence will be missed.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the tribute to Angelo. I asked you about it several weeks ago and have since traveled back to DR only to have more people tell me it was true. He was a beautiful young man with a wonderful spirit. I will certainly miss his smile. Thank you again..........

I have been going to the DR for awhile now. Angelo will always be remember because of his warm spirit and pleasant smile. He was never begging and always appreciative. Many of the guys down their could learn a thing or two from him. I just wish he could have escaped that life. He could have been so many other things but then I guess we would have never met. Rest in peace young man.

The last poster summed it up so eloquently. I met Angelo at the Sports Bar a few years ago. I spoke no Spanish and he no English. Our eyes met, he flashed his famous smile and we shook hands. Such a firm handshake. I was absolutly stunned because he wasn't agressive and overbearing like the other Buggys. It wasn't until a couple of years aftwards that fate let us spend quality time together. I, like so many have very fond memories of Angelo that will last a lifetime.
