FRIDAY FAVORITE 13

That first stay in Santo Domingo was definitely a good one. I've written about "mi nino" Domingo, whom we haven't seen since that special encounter all those years ago. Today I spotlight Edwin.

We gave nicknames to several of the people we met on our premier stay in the city. Edwin was dubbed "the babys daddy" because of his good looks, his innocence and his genuinely warm demeanor. It's been nice to see him grow over the years. He's confident, humorous and continues to be attentive to that special person he's with, as well as to his friends.

He is one of the people I look forward to seeing on every trip to Santo Domingo.

I agree 100%. many of us refer to him as Sammy Sosa since he bears a remarkable resemblance to Sammy Sosa.

Unfortunately, he doesn't look like that anymore. He has put on some weight.

Edwin is a professional thief. I have first hand experience. And there are many others who can give their reports Stay away from this trouble

Baby is definitely one of the better ones even though he's picked up a few pounds. You do have to tell him what to do in bed though. He's attentive and fun. I USED to deal with him. Be careful because the thief part is correct. Mama gto caught slipping!

It has been said before, "Act on the side of caution."

I'm truly sorry that some of the readers have been stolen from. I had NEVER heard that about Edwin in all these years, nor have I experienced it. Guess he only steals from people he sleeps with.

Nevertheless, he's always a fun character and we'll continue to hang out. I'll just hold my purse a little bit closer.

The real Sammy Sosa has picked up a little weight also..so he still looks like Sammy Sosa.....I never understand this thief claim about the boys....anyone with any sense knows that you place valuables in the hotel safe or somewhere else safe before entertaining company. They are never offended when I ask them to sit in the hotel lobby while I go to the room to prepare. Prepare means that any valuable is locked up safe. I have never ever had a problem with Edwin and I have been with him many times.
