Theses pics highlight the diversity in Panama. There are several cultures and ethnic backgrounds that make up Panamanian society. A blog supporter informed me that many of the people on the caribbean side of the country are of Jamaican descent. The Jamaicans were brought to Panama when the railroad was being built.
