I have been keeping abreast of the latest news out of Jamaica regarding the hunt for a man wanted in the US for drug traffficking. His supports have created quite a dilemna for Jamaican officials. This ordeal will surely expose curruption in the constubolary as foreign officials dealve into the matter and seek to answer one question: how has this ONE man escaped capture for so long and been able to build up such a well-armed militia? These events are already having an adverse effect on tourism in that country.
I am saddened to have found out the other day that the founder of Rudejam was murdered in his home in November. Apparently, one of his employees is the culprit, but the police are not investigating because it is looked at as maby gay. He was certainly a kind and talented person. He was quite humorous as well. I helped him choose lodging and offered other suggestions when he would travel to the Dominican Republic for vacation. A tragic loss.

Not sure if it was a model or someone hired to assist with production, but it was someone who worked with him.

I often wondered how long he was going to last.
very very sad. Those ARE the BEST porn EVER!!!!!
DAMN SHAME!!!
he was the BEST
This bit of news is sooo sad, on so many fronts. Thanks for sharing.
Same thing happened to the guy who published the Third World Studios mags in Chicago - murdered by one of his models. Risky profession, and I think sometimes the models feel exploited. Not an excuse for murder, but could be a reason.
I was wondering what had happened because the Rudejam site has not been updated in quite some time. I was there recently (in April to be exact) and the island is beautiful. But I must say that Jamaican men (on the north coast, i.e., where the "tourists" go) are very flexible if the benefits are right (just like anywhere else). It is an ultra violent society in the slums so one has to be careful. But the tourist section is very safe. RIP Rue!
Capitalism run amok, in the name of "free" trade, has made wage slaves of millions of Chinese, Indians, and Africans, in the process ruining the formerly self-sustaining indigenious economies of third world nations. The dairy industry in Jamaica is gone. Cottage industries in Peru, Ecuador, and Mexico are extinct. Billions of the poor have nothing to do all day but starve. The insatiable demand for marijuana, cocaine, and heroin in the United States offers the allure of painless wealth easily achieved.
The politicians in Jamaica lack the guts to tell Uncle Sam to shove it. Jamaica, where one half of the population at least are frequent marijuana users. should recognize herb as a cash crop, taxed, regulated, and exported to an eager world market. Instead its politicians are bought off with chump change; the U. S. led "war" on drugs, a failure in every aspect, goes on and on, poisoning and ruining, as Prohibition in the 1920's poisoned and ruined Chicago and New York. Chaos, corruption, murder, and mayhem are the result. On the way up, politicians, like the present Prime Minister of Jamaica, get in bed with "dons," who control the drug trade. Once in power, they are perceived, and rightly so, as traitors. At least the dons provide food, work, and a sense of belonging to their followers. And now there are, predicably, riots. Or should they more properly be called rebellions? This is just the opening phase of the desperate and disenfranchised, the hungry and the dispossessed, fighting back. Which side would you be on if you were uneducated, illiterated, starving, and without hope?
I really use to like rudejam and had wondered why they have gone so long without any updates and this definitely sheds some light on the situation. My question is, does anyone know if this site rudejam will continue. I contacted them and got an email back as recently as May 15, 2010 (5-15-10) basically saying that they were having issues but updates to the site were coming very soon. Can anyone shed any light on this
It will be a double tragedy when his portfolio of works disappears into the ether too.
When the similar themed JamaicanThrob.com disappeared a year or two back, I feared for the owner of that site, and for his work, now apparently lost in space.
the guy in the picture above was hte creator??????? plz tell me hes not
No, none of the guys above were involved in the crime. They are just a sampling of Rue's work.
